The Word of God

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, written through men as the Holy Spirit guided them. It is unbiblical for anyone to add or take away from these scriptures. (I Thessalonians 2:13, II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21)

The Trinity

God is one but is manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit being co-equal. (I John 5:7)

Man:His Fall and Redemption

Man is created in the likeness and image of God and was given dominion to rule and reign over this earth in Adam. Through Adam’s transgression and rebellion against God, we lost our former place of authority. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).  “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10).  Jesus Christ shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God (I John 3:8). Salvation is the gift of God to man, given by grace and not earned by works, and received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing fruits consistent with repentance. (Ephesians 2:8)

Eternal Life and Salvation

True Godly sorrow and repentance must accompany salvation. The new birth is necessary to all men and is produced when a person repents and turns from their sin, believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10John 3:3-5, II Corinthians 7:10, I John 5:12)

Water Baptism

Baptism in water by immersion is a commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. It is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers and is received after the new birth has occurred. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Matthew 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38-39; 19:1-7)

The need for Repentance

Ongoing repentance is key to the Christian walking in the freedom for which Christ died to give them. It is critical in order to be transformed more and more into His image and likeness. Christ is returning for a Bride that is unspotted and unwrinkled (2 Chron 7:14Is 30:15, Acts 3:19, Matt 4:17, Luke 5:31-32)

Divine Healing

Divine healing is for today. We receive it by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is one of the blessings obtained for us by Jesus through his death on the cross. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, Mark 16:18, James 5:14-16, I Peter 2:24)

Hell

Hell is a real place that was created for the devil and his demons. However, this became man’s eternal destination when he rebelled against God in the garden. Those who reject the offer of salvation from our Lord will live eternally in this place of eternal damnation. (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 19:20)

Marriage

Biblical marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman. We do not believe the Bible condones any other arrangement that violates this definition, such as: unmarried couples living together, homosexuality, bestiality, polygamy. (Matt. 19:3-8; Leviticus 18:19-23; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-27; 1 Cor 6:9-10)

What We Believe

We believe The Bible to be the inspired Word of God, and accept the same as: the only infallible guide and rule of our faith and practice. It is the only basis for our faith and fellowship.  (Matt. 24:35Ps. 119:89II Tim. 2:153:16-17II Pet. 1:19:21)

We believe In the Eternal, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent and Immutable Triune God; Maker of heaven and earth and all that is in them; and that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons equal in every Divine perfection and attribute, executing distinct but harmonious offices, in the great work of redemption.  (I John 5:7II Cor. 13:14Gen. 1:26I Tim. 1:17)

God The Father (Is. 43:10; 44:8, John 3:16)

God The Son Co-existent and co-eternal with the Father, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, took upon Himself the form of man; and by His becoming obedient unto death, bearing the curses of sin, sickness and sorrow, redeemed us back to God, the Father, where He sits on the right hand of God, the Father, where He makes intercession for us.  (John 1:1-3Matt. 1:23I Tim 2:5Eph. 2:18Phil. 2:6-11)

God the Holy Spirit The third person of the Godhead, co-existent and equal with the Father. Sent by the Father, through the Son, to reprove the world of sin and prepare the Bride of Christ. (John 14:2615:2616:8)

We believe In the Salvation of Mankind through the Redeeming Work of Jesus Christ and the Regenerative Work of the Holy Spirit. Sanctification is seen as an act of separation from that which is evil.

We believe In The Baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:4; 10:4419:1-6)

We believe In Divine healing and deliverance exemplified by the Lord Jesus Christ as signs of those who believe. (Mark16: 17-18)
